Last night was my prom guys!
These are my best friends and their names are Amanda, Rasa and Joanna. Joanna and I went together (she’s on the right). Rasa and Amanda’s dates are not pictured.
It was a really awesome night, I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it because I don’t usually like these things but I had so much fun. Also I was voted Most Likely to Hug a Tree. Thanks class
i bought some nice black shoes - i always need to have a pair of simple black shoes that i can wear with anything. for the past 4 years it has been all black converse but i have literally been through 3 pairs of those. my third pair started coming apart like 6 months ago and i just stopped wearing them, they were basically slippers, and i somehow got by until now
anyways i didn’t get black converse again, i got these classier black ones that are a lot nicer and they were only 5 bucks more
right, then i went to urban outfitters and i got a couple of tank tops because it’s summer. yeah, i already feel naked enough wearing just a t-shirt after a winter of wearing 3 layers. and i’m not that body-confident or whatever but i figure maybe this will help and plus it’s practical in the summertime. here you can have a photo because i’m feeling good about myself today!
and then i also bought this great sweater from urban outfitters which is soo nice and it was only 30 bucks, i guess it was on sale. oh and also a pair of shorts too
… so i ended up spending a lot of money but i haven’t been shopping in forever (excluding prom…) and i wanted to buy stuff so i did.
So this was our second day in Dublin which was spent, for the most part, at the Wicklow Mountains Natural Park & surrounding area.
Let me just say that we are having the best bus drivers. The guy today was so awesome: he sang to us, told us all these stories and he was actually really interesting as well.
We walked through the Glendalough Valley which is enchantingly beautiful. My phone camera can’t quite capture the beauty but here are some pictures:

Afterwards we walked down to the cemetery. Also there is a big tower than was part of St Kevin’s Monastery which was built in the 500’s. During the Viking Raids, the monks would hide up in the tower (using a ladder to get in a high door) and pour hot oil down on the vikings, to protect the valuable treasures of the monastery. But eventually the vikings figured out that they could use the tower as a chimney and they roasted the monks. So that sucks. Anyways here are more pictures:

The story is that if you can get your arms around this cross, you’ll be married in a year. It occurred to me later to put a “You must be __THIS___ tall to get your arms around the cross” sign, since isn’t someone’s arm span the same as their height? Anyways I did get all the way around… not really planning on marrying though…
Afterwards we stopped in Kilkenny (I wonder if the South Park adage originated from this place?), which is the medieval capital of Ireland! Here is the castle. We had some trouble finding a restaurant that wanted us it seemed, so there wasn’t too much time for pictures. But I’ll put a few just for Kyle and Al :)
Alright! We got home late and then I slept, and that was day 8 :)

yeah my friend and i did this for talent show and like a month later we were like i guess we should record it so we did. :D enjoy~
my friend & i covered beautiful disaster by jon mclaughlin :) we sang it at our school’s talent show then decided to start a youtube channel.
so far we have 9 views, all of which come from the two of us…
