my friend joanna and i have been in the school talent show the past couple of years, just doing acoustic+vocal duets of songs we like

last year we did a five-song medley. we have to do mashups because joanna and i have totally different tastes and we’re both stubborn little cunts. actually there are a couple of videos but tbh when i watch them i think we sound bad so i’m not going to link to them haha

this year we are doing the sound of silence by simon and garfunkel (my half) and break even by the script (joanna’s half)

it’s not like i hate break even; we try to choose songs that the other person will at least like, and one year we even found a song that both of us liked (two years ago we did beautiful disaster by jon mclaughlin)

anyways time to start learning the harmony part
